Angy

When Angy was under twenty, she always prayed once a day. She used to bend her knee when she saw an image of the Lord. And, of course, she took over in the dining room when they bless to God. She was a very good girl. In fact, she was engaged to a handsome man who loved her, but they have never shared the bed.
However, at the age of 21, her family died in a car accident. The sadness that came to her was so huge that Angy started to distrust in Him. Some days after the accident, she felt so overwhelmed that she became a heavy drinker of rum. Her boyfriend tried to be reassuring but he didn´t achieve anything. A couple of months later, he left her and returned to Denmark, where he was born.
In addition, Angy started to have shortage. In this moment she thought that Jesus is not loyal at all. Then, she changed her mind and became a mugger. She deployed all of her religious knowledge to cheat the elder people.
One day, a policeman saw her robbing so they started a pursuit. She was faster but she wasn´t keeping in fit because of the rum. When the police was about to catch her, she decided to take a very old woman as a hostage.
Then, they entered into a block of housing waiting for a miracle. Although that was a reckless move, it worked. The police surrounded the building and lowered their shotguns. A dozen of minutes later, a police spokesman started to talk to Angy.
Inside, the old woman looked calm. She tried to be enjoyable in order to save the situation. Caroline, that was her name, was the preacher´s wife so she remembered Angy. She used this forte for convincing the young girl that this was a huge mistake. When both, Caroline and the spokesman, talked to Angy, she started to think about giving up.
She had a lot of doubt but, finally, she trusted them. However she was betrayed. When she came out, a sniper pulls the trigger of a shotgun. The bullet entered into her right lung, and she fell into the ground. Quickly, his t-shirt was full of blood. She felt like there were hundreds of wasps inside of her destroying every cell of her body.
In that last moment of life, she remembered his youth. She thought that she didn´t deserve that horrible end. However, in the depth of her brain, she knew that this issue was her own fault. If she would have done a different assessment, now she would keep up with life.

Different sex, "same opportunities?

Are you completely sure that women have the same opportunities than a man in the same circumstances?

Over the years, differences between men and women have decreased more and more. A thousand years ago women did not work or vote. A hundred years ago some worked and they started to vote. Today they can go freely to the polls and the majority of them work. Nevertheless, some statistics say that we have not reached gender equality.
Every so and so the Media starts a debate about it, but in my opinion, they do not speak clear. They focus their speeches on salaries and social benefits but they do not talk about position, power or in general, money. There are very few powerful women (except Angela Merkel) and there are no famous business women. In addition there are no women in the top ten of the richest.
This aspects are changing but they appears in the society slowly, really slowly. Why are there so many girls at the university (at least in Spain there are more women than men studying a degree) and no too many at the headquarters? I think that there are lot of troubles for them. For example, maternity, ambitions and the main problem, there are still lots of male chauvinists who rule our world.
In conclusion, does a woman have the same opportunities? It depends. If you are talking about low or medium level society I think the answer is “almost yes”. But if you are talking about high level world (big companies, government presidents or, in general, richest) the answer is “Not at all”.

A recommendation

Paul Stoudemire, USA Today.
I would like to recommend you this Spanish Blog: 'Volviendo a mis producciones literarias'. There, you could find lot of poems, short stories, essays and much more contents. All of them have been written by Sr.zepa (in Spanish Sr. is the abbreviation of Mister so you can also known him as Mr.zepa).

Sr.zepa (‘z’, ‘e’, ‘p’ and ‘a’ must be written in lower case upon request of the author) is a young man who has studied computer science.  Although it doesn’t seem to be a very poetic degree, he has a complex rime, a romantic way of talk and he makes the reader feel like “a furious lord of the sea” or a scorned lover that has fall into the most dramatic hell. His literature has a lot of imagination, strength and love. But, most important, if you read his literature you are going to improve your Spanish skills having a lot of fun.

Finally I want to use one of my colleagues (in the competition):
“When you read one of this posts, the time disappears and your mind fly away.”
Cori Bell, The New York Times
